Self-Help Support Links

For quick checks, drivers, warranty lookups and manufacturer diagnostics, these official support pages are useful even when that brand is not currently in stock.

Startup Checks Before Repair

Power Reset

Disconnect chargers, docks and USB devices, then hold the power button for 10-30 seconds. Reconnect power and try again.

Power Source

Test a different wall socket, check the charger light if present and inspect the charging port for looseness or damage.

Screen Check

If the system sounds alive but the screen is blank, raise brightness, try an external monitor and check for faint backlight images.

PC BIOS / Boot Menu

Common startup keys include F2, F10, F12, Esc or Delete. HP often uses Esc/F10, Dell F2/F12 and Lenovo Enter/F1/F2.

Apple Startup

Apple silicon Macs: hold power until Options appears. Intel Macs: try Option for boot disks, Command + R for Recovery, or Option + Command + P + R for NVRAM reset.

Stop And Ask

If there is liquid damage, burning smell, swollen battery, important data or repeated clicking from storage, stop and request advice before further testing.

Before You Arrange A Repair

When you get in touch, please say whether this is a new repair quote or an after-sales/warranty repair for a system already supplied or repaired by Marie Marie Centre.

New Quote Request

Send the device brand and model, the fault, how long it has been happening, whether it powers on, any error messages, and whether the charger is available for testing.

After-Sales Or Warranty Repair

Send the purchase or repair date, order/reference details if available, the original issue, what has changed since collection or delivery, and clear photos or a short video if the fault is visible.

Useful Extras

Mention liquid damage, drops, recent Windows or macOS updates, battery problems, unusual noises, overheating, missing keys, screen damage, data backup needs, and whether urgent turnaround is required.

Please back up important files where possible before repair. If data recovery is needed, mention this before any Windows reset, SSD replacement or storage work is started.
