Repair Assessment

Use this form to prepare a clear WhatsApp repair request. It helps separate new quote requests from after-sales or warranty repair enquiries and prompts you for the details needed for an initial assessment.

  • Take one full photo of the device powered on, if possible.
  • Take one full photo of the laptop lid, keyboard and screen, or the PC case and monitor setup.
  • Take close-ups of damaged ports, hinges, screen cracks, missing keys, case damage or liquid marks.
  • Photograph the service tag, serial label or model sticker if visible.
  • Keep photos sharp, well-lit and uncropped. Avoid heavy filters or screenshots of blurry photos.

Quick Specs

Press Windows + R, type msinfo32, press Enter, then send a photo or screenshot of System Summary.

Windows Version

Press Windows + R, type winver, press Enter, then send the Windows version shown.

Reliability History

Press Windows + R, type perfmon /rel, press Enter, then photograph recent critical errors if the system starts.

Device Manager

Press Windows + X, choose Device Manager, and photograph any devices with warning icons.

Event Viewer

Press Windows + R, type eventvwr, press Enter. If asked, share recent System or Application errors only.

Screenshot Shortcut

Use Windows + Shift + S to capture an error message. Paste or attach it in WhatsApp.

macOS Information That Helps

About This Mac

Open the Apple menu, choose About This Mac, then send the model, chip/processor, memory and macOS version shown.

System Information

Hold Option, open the Apple menu and choose System Information. Photos of Hardware Overview and Power/Battery details are useful.

Startup Options

Apple silicon Macs: hold the power button until startup options appear. Intel Macs: try Option at startup to show bootable disks.

Recovery Mode

Apple silicon Macs: hold power for Options. Intel Macs: press Command + R at startup. Send any error message shown.

Disk Utility

In Recovery, open Disk Utility and photograph the internal drive list if storage, question-mark folder or startup errors appear.

Screenshot Shortcut

Use Command + Shift + 5 for screenshots or screen recording if macOS loads far enough to show the fault.

Do not send passwords, banking information, private documents or recovery keys. If the device contains important files, mention data backup before any reset or storage work.
